Using Pear Deck for Classroom Engagement

If we ask a question and only one student responds, how many students can we confidently say are engaged?  If the student gets it right, does that mean the whole class is ready to move on?

Pear Deck is a quick and easy way to get everyone engaged and it works with your existing Google Slide and PowerPoint presentations.  Imagine open ended discussions where everyone adds to the conversation instead of just your most vocal students. It allows students to respond real time to questions asked during your presentation.  In addition, the added anonymity can free up students to answer more challenging questions.  Lastly, Pear Deck questions can also be accessed asynchronously for out of class formative assessments.
