If you teach multiple sections of the same course, you may find it beneficial to "cross-list" your courses. When you cross-list a course, you effectively take one course and push it into another course. This allows you to build assignments, modules, and other items only once but have it displayed for all your students.
For example, if I cross list my EDU-304 01 course into my EDU-304 02 course, the students from section 1 will be placed inside the section 2 course as their own section. This means, I can create and create a module for my EDU-304 02 course and it'd be available to all of my students. Since they'll be in as two separate sections, I can easily differentiate items. If I build an assignment, I can have it due on one day for my section 1 course and a different day for my section 2 course.
You have the ability to create your own cross-listings. Watch this video for a step by step guide through the process. If you get stuck or have any questions, I'll happily help you out.
